You know me right? Kinda philosophical, like to look at things from both sides, not afraid to be different or show what I think... not this week. This week I've been seeing red and losing some perspective. First time in, mm, let's just go with years that I got booted from a game on Monday night. Ref was lazy and lousy - one player an opposition fast break with two guys, one with the ball and the other running in front of me blocking my path for a good 10 yards before I shoved him out the way... unsportsmanlike foul from the ref (a kind of tech we have in FIBA)... next thing I know I'm thrown out for complaining (technically calling the ref a 'cock' was the reason I believe).
One of those weeks... everything has been bugging me this week and while I wait for my usual levels of calm to return... the Stars have been ripped apart by both injuries and opponents lucky enough to face us right now.
Injuries
Gerald Wallace 2
Clyde Drexler 6
Mel Riebe 1
David Robinson 6
Latrell Sprewell 1 - wow, not a single Star on the injury list! Take positives where you can find them.

Qs moved past the Stars this week so it's good they lost ha! Of course it's a shame they lost to the Spurs 'cos they're in the same div too and I'd like to see them stink a bit more than they have so far too... what is it with that unibrow thing? Shave it/pluck it I don't care but it looks daft man, 24 points today in the W though.

(18-15) Syracuse Nation 28 23 26 31 - 108 (Steve Nash 23)
Well that's just great isn't it? Soddin' stupid Nationals roar back in the fourth and steal a game that the Stars should have bagged (let's not even talk about the previous effort). I'm tempted to trade the lot of them... oh, Butler comes back next game! Actually I'll trade all of them except Butler, Duncan and Baylor.. I can forgive the other couple of guys who come back of injury too... win streak coming in Utah starting next game... Syracuse right back in after getting two wins that I very much wish they hadn't....

(16-19) Pittsburgh Cond 33 26 36 27 - 122 (Vin Baker 19)
Magic deserved to lose today because they have Mark Aguirre and although that doesn't mean much to most of you (hey, he was a good player! type comments) it's enough reason. That and the fact the Condors are underdogs and who doesn't like to see an underdog win it?

(19-14) Trenton Cagers 23 32 35 21 - 111 (Nikola Vucevic 26)
Dan will love the Claws scrappy win over Stan's Cagers on a Bill Spivey buzzer beater. Got to admit I find it amusing too. Losing is a bit like eating bad food... feels better if others are doing it too! Vucevic had a game 26 and 10 but his efficiency! Spivey was similar AND the winner. Boom!
