( 7-12) KC-Omaha Kings 30 30 29 32 - 121 (Purvis Short 28)
(15- 3) Virginia Squire 29 29 27 37 - 122 (Sidney Moncrief 27)
Heartbreaker to start the day for the Kings - again they push a top team to the edge to be beaten again at the buzzer! Gilmore only had 11 points but the last two were the tip-in to win the game (not to mention his 11th board in the same play of course). Both teams shoot over 50% in an entertaining matchup.

Cagers finally dipped below .500 after their hot start... but what's this? Back at .500 with a stunning upset over the Qs in San Diego? Game winner in a UBAL game awarded to... Mason Plumlee! In a game featuring TMac, Tiny, Cervi, Jones, Bryant, Roy and Bells up steps Mason Plumlee who, according to the stats played 0 full minutes and put up the winning shot!! How did this happen? I have no idea, call it a quirk of the gaming software, call it mad genius of Stan but whatever you call it, it counts.

(13- 6) Orlando Magic 28 28 31 26 - 113 (John Wall 21)
Magic continue to look pretty good, double-digit win thanks to a strong third quarter and the studly play of John Wall (21 and 11 dimes) - although he's not the greatest shooter by percentages, he does do what a point guard is supposed to (and scores too). Chaps have 4 on the injury list, including Mikan (unsurprisingly) and Kyrie.

( 8-12) Phoenix Suns 14 23 20 21 - 78 (Nikola Mirotic 16)
Remember the Rockets? Back to back champs a year or so removed and a team that still features, CP3, Leonard, Durant, Favors, Rondo, Greek fella and Alvin Robertson. The Rockets re-tooled with all of Adam's favourite young stars and they are still a force to be reckoned with. Today they take down the Suns in Phoenix like they were the visiting team. Last quarter turned into blowout mode with a lay-up drill for the Rocks.

(13- 6) Minnesota Muski 34 27 31 29 - 121 (Paul Arizin 30)
Cleveland not been too good to start the campaign, but the Muskies have been. Easy win for them today as the visiting Cavs just couldn't make it close enough to trouble them. Melo was efficient but when he fouled out at the start of the fourth any idea of a comeback went to the bench with him. Arizin was unreal, 30 points on 11 shots (10 of 11) and Pettit had 29 and 14 boards = win.

( 6-13) Oakland Oaks 30 23 26 24 - 103 (Enes Kanter 20)
(12- 7) Washington Wiza 21 25 26 39 - 111 (Jerry Lucas 18)
The Oaks have been surprisingly average (I mean that in a good way, they were kinda predicted to be a whole lot worse than average), but the Wizards are just rounding in to form and were able to hold home court. Wasn't without it's bumps though, they were down by 7 to start the fourth and had to dig deep to grind out a win playing an ugly game. 7 fellas did hit double-digits for the Wiz and somehow Teague got double-digit assists too! Funny to see picks 1 and 2 from the previous NBA draft on the same team with Russell and Towns. KAT was big today with 14 points and 15 boards in the loss, Russell less so with 5 points, 6 assists 4 boards. He also managed the 'only in the UBA' stat of fouling out and getting injured in the process... he'll miss next one for the Oaks.
