In the spirit of elections, politics and brain-washing I watched the Manchurian Candidate last night with Denzel Washington (good political name). I'm not sure how much brain washing goes on for real but there sure is a lot of advertising; does it devalue politics when it essentially becomes a media and marketing campaign more than about real issues?
