The Sails are definitely not going to have this all their own way. Today the other MJ was our top rated man with his 35 point barrage, but it goes in vain for the highly touted Sails as the Steers again prove their mettle. Theus was a menace all game. The first half was a dominant performance by the home team looking to solidify their game two turn around, and throughout the second they kept pace with the high scoring Sails. Can coach Turner change tack and get this one back on course or do the Steers have their number?

What can you say about the Chaps? I for one will count them out when they lose 4 to the same team this post season and not before! Hardaway was again the spark they needed and although big man NJ was a cool cat for the Tigers, Ray Felix did enough to keep him in check whilst Timmy ran wild. Great win for the Chaps, how will the Tigers respond this time? This is shaping into a great series! Two fighting teams... Who wants it more?

Back to back 1 point wins for the home teams and New York goes down for the first time this playoffs after 14 straight wins (didn't want to jinx it but was still thinking it!). The teams best players went at it with Barry and Cousy both matching basket for basket whilst A-train and CP3 did their thing. The Knicks looked to have it sewn up with a couple of ticks on the clock as Cousy again drove the lane for the contested two, but a quick timeout by Dustin as he frantically drew up the last play. Great defense by Cousy broke up the inbound which deflected and found its way to the hands of little used Rashard Lewis, without hesitation he locked, loaded and released as time expired.. Swish! This was one of the games of the playoffs so far 20 lead changes and 22 ties, a one point victory on a buzzer beater, awesome!

( 0- 3) Akron Firestone 15 35 24 23 - 97 (Paul Arizin 23)
Pre-playoff favorite Akron leaves their fans and super analyst BBJ dumbfounded as a lackluster performance in a must-win at home game puts them on the brink as quickly as they got here. There only hope lies in a change of tides and the fact that LA let Anderson back in the last series.. West and Arizin combined for 45 but they need more to take down an LA squad that looks set for another trip to the NBA Conference Finals. I wouldn't bet against the Stones coming back next game, but can they come back and win 4 straight over the Lakers? The smart money says not.
